There is nothing more that I hate than poor customer service. Especially in this economy, businesses need to step it up a notch and run a tight ship. If sales are down, customer service better be priority. Businesses need to push their employees into action and make sure they know customer names, and have a smile on their face when they great customers. Too often people are afraid to talk to the managers or complain about service. If no one ever says anything, managers will never know. Sales begin to slide and owners are left wondering why. PLEASE, PLEASE don't keep your mouth shut if you experience bad service. Don't be rude about it or anything, but just politely explain to the owner or manager that you are not happy with the service and maybe even give them a few pointers on how to improve. Santa Clarita, although growing, is still very small. Many small businesses here are failing because of poor management. Take the time to support local businesses and let them know your opinions so they can improve or change their services.
