I just joined this group and I was actually one of the speakers at the Barnes & Noble event :) It was fun! I spoke about co-ops, which I love!
I have 4 kids, ages 15, 13, 8 and 7, all homeschooling and never been to school. We love it!

Just wanted to let you all know that I sent you a message containing some information that I just received of a seminar coming to Barnes and Noble on Homeschooling....I don't really know if any of you are interested in attending but I thought that I would share the information....

Hi Guys....
Just wanted to share this website with fellow homeschoolers, some homeschoolers got together last week at SCVi and dissected owl pellets...one of the moms suggested this live cam of a female owl sitting on her eggs, the dad visits at night....Keep in mind when he does visit he sometimes brings dinner which is other wildlife

This is the year of the "Never say Never" . . . one of those NEVER's was homeschooling!!! And well, I started with my 1st grader! I have, for the most part, enjoyed it . . . there are certainly many challenges, but the upside of having my girlie home is priceless!!! We are part of a charter school and I'm so thankful for the help there . . . really more for the accountability. I was a classroom teacher for several years, but it is far different when you are teaching one and she is YOURS! We are planning to do it again next year . . . with a little tweaking here and there.
